Etamn Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
Etamn is a safety check-in app. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information we process
Etamn processes the profile information you provide: display name, invite code, language, optional profile photo, trusted-contact relationships, check-ins and responses. It processes device notification tokens to deliver check-ins. If you protect an account, Firebase Authentication processes your email address. If advertising is enabled, Google Mobile Ads and its consent tools process information needed to serve and measure ads.
How we use information
We use this information to operate Etamn, connect users who approve each other, deliver check-ins and notifications, protect the service, and show ads only when enabled. Etamn does not automatically contact police, ambulance, or other emergency services.
Service providers
Etamn uses Google Firebase for Authentication, Firestore, App Check and Cloud Messaging. It uses Google Mobile Ads and its consent tools to show banner advertising. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
You can request deletion of your Etamn data from Settings in the app or by using the support-email process on the page below. We will verify the request and permanently remove the Etamn profile, contacts, pending requests, check-ins, invite code and notification tokens from Etamn's Firebase project.
